After a long drive from Las Vegas to Yuma, AZ. I was able
to attend and enjoy my 1st MCAS Yuma Open House/Air
Show. Along w/ my wife and mother-in-law (visiting from
the Philippines) we expereinced a nice Marine Corps event
to attend and enjoy my 1st MCAS Yuma Open House/Air

This was the 1st air show my wonderful
mother-in-law ever attended. She
enjoyed herself but the long hike from
the parking area to the flightline was a
bit much for her. Filipino air shows do
not take place due to its limited military
air services and no money to spend on
such events. The MCAS Yuma
staff put on a good show. The static
display was okay but not anything
special. I did enjoy the F-5E
Aggressors performance. Not really a
display just a few fly-bys. I did
like the multiple Harriers to
photograph. Overall a good air show.
