Joe Davis Heritage Air Park
Palmdale, CA.     08/09
I visited the Joe Davis Air Park in Aug.
2009. It is right next door to the
Blackbird Air Park.  So I killed two birds
with one stone and shot both on the
same day.  This air park consists of
several Vietnam era aircraft. Most of
the displays are kept in pretty good
shape. The A-7 and C-46 were in
refurbishment areas. The rest of the
aircraft are in a large desert lot off of
Ave. P. There are plans to expand this
air park as they have plenty of space
to do so.  The recent addition of a very
nice F-14 Tomcat was a nice surprise.
I believe the B-52F on display is the
only "F" model on display in the U.S.
It's a very nice park.  I'll be back to
check the progress of their expansion
in the future.  Enjoy the photos !!!
